Our retreat leader Captain Bingo (ERYT500) takes nonsense seriously.
As a decades-long yoga teacher/practitioner and dedicated surfer, he has developed a unique approach to teaching that explores the relationship between self-discipline and play.
Having explored a wide variety of yoga and movement systems, Bingo offers a style all his own which encourages self-exploration and a willingness to ‘color outside the lines’.
Inspired by nature in all its forms, Bingo considers the ocean his primary teacher — drawing from it a profound understanding of the human condition.

Our program offers something for everyone and includes more than enough to keep you stoked, healthy and happy. However, we encourage participants to pace themselves by not trying to do everything, which would be exhausting. In fact, it will be impossible to join all the surf and yoga activities every day. Instead, we recommend listening to your body, take some relaxation time by the pool, and make choices that will facilitate balance and your overall well-being.

Meet Kat, a passionate ocean lover who’s found her calling in the paradise of Bali. After leaving behind California’s kelp forests, she dove headfirst into the island’s vibrant surfing and yoga community, blending her love for the ocean with her deep appreciation for mindfulness and wellness.
Kat believes in the transformative power of connection and play with nature—and through yoga, she finds that connection deepens. Whether she’s practicing yoga, catching waves, savoring a fresh coconut, or hanging out with surf camp guests, Kat is always grateful to be immersed in the beauty and serenity that Bali has to offer.
Kat’s mission is to hold a space for people to unite through the healing energy of the ocean and yoga, creating a welcoming environment for people to unwind, reconnect, rejuvenate, and have fun.
